Letters to Anders.

Decendants of Anders (Ellen Marie) have taken care of original letters written to Anders by Helga and Regine just after he started working at the Railway in Kristiansand. The letters are not dated, so it is difficult to determine when they were written, but one letter refereces his 19. birthday which is 1905 and one is dated 1906.

Helga was his youngest sister and lived at Høvåg a long time before she moved to Oslo. Helga was the youngest child, 2 years yonger than Anders and possibly knew him best. The letters from Helga tells about the highlights of the season, namely going to Gamle Hellesund to listen to the travelling preacher.

Helenes letters shows a very "dark" christian woman. I think you might cheer up getting her second letter!

There is only one letter from Ole which is written in West Port in June 1912.
